The exact values of the trigonometric functions at the "nice" angles are based on their values on the "nice" angles in Quadrant I. These values are easily derived from triangles and the unti circle definitions of the trigonometric functions.

No triangles are needed to determine the values of the trigonometric functions for the angle 0 radians = 0° and for the angle π/2 = 90°.
